Discloser Information about the creator of Affiliate Marketing Blog.

I feel it is important to tell you a bit about Clarke Duncan the owner of this site and declare up front any interests, connections or things that some people could see as conflicting. Basically, some people will say “but he is this or that” what I am saying is, certain things that if you don’t know me, you won’t understand. Like why I am happy to praise a “competitor” for a good job or why I am very passionate about many issues in the industry.

I started in Affiliate Marketing back in 1997, at the time I was promoting web hosting and dedicated servers for a USA company called Adgrafix who later became Hosting.com all from my bedroom here in sunny Scotland.

In parallel with this I had started a few personal websites, but my first major Affiliate site was Free UK Stuff, however it was not “major” for many years after I started it as I didn’t actually have Affiliate adverts on that site, it was all about the content 😉

Fast forward to today (skipping loads of good stuff that I might discuss over a pint or two at various Affiliate events), I am a Director in three Internet based companies UK Internet Sites Ltd & Paid On Results Ltd.
